2006 called...it wants it's blog back

Well, here we are...finally getting to my blog idea. {Only about 10+ years late on the trend} You are probably wondering who I am and what this is all about so here. we. GO.

{Insert bio here:} My name is Michelle. I live in the north west suburbs of Chicago with my husband Bill, daughter Rose and our dog Mr. Bojangles.

My background is in interior design and I have had a passion for fashion {nice rhyme right?} for as long as I can remember. Previously I had valued quantity over quality and the price mattered more than where it was made or what it's cost was to others. As I continue through life I have made it my mission to surround myself with things I love, things that add value to my life and that bring value to others. This has grown from just what I wear to what is in my home, what food I eat, what beauty products I use and so much more.

I am in NO way a professional writer and am absolutely not living this idea perfectly but I hope that I can share with you what I have learned so far and let you all continue this journey with me. My goal is to change mindsets and help people realize that how we spend our money is powerful and by shopping with purpose we can make a difference in our community, country and even the world.
